Olympic Gold for Brabants...and then a Bronze
British paddler Tim Brabants has taken the gold medal for the K1 1,000m at the Beijing Olympics and then a Bronze for the shorter 500m course. Brabants, who notched a bronze in the K1 1,000m race in Sydney, surged ahead at the halfway mark, leaving former Olympic champion Eirik Veraas Larsen of Norway in his wake. Meeting on Holme Pierrepont White Water ‘In’ Course Proposals
A crunch meeting between paddlers and officials from the British Canoe Union will l be held tomorrow night over proposed changes to the Holme Pierrepont White Water ‘In’ Course in Nottingham. Canoeists raise £80,000 for good cause in England's toughest charity event
Four members of Ford Underwater Canoe Team put themselves to the test by competing in England’s toughest charity event, the Ford Ranger Great Lakeland Challenge, which took place on Friday, May 16 and raised almost £80,000 for national charity Wooden Spoon.
